It is our mission to hold the District 5 
School Board Trustees accountable to
the students, families, teachers, staff,
and taxpayers.  We expect our elected
officials to adhere to the laws, ethics,
and the oath of office that shapes
their service to our district.

For this, we turn to the Freedom of
Information Act, the South Carolina Open
Meetings Law, the standards set by the
South Carolina Association of School
Boards, and the South Carolina Ethics
Commission.

We also turn to YOU, our community,
and ask you to support the D5 Citizens for
